The purpose of automatic meter reading(ex. gas) and electrical power visualization, sensor networks have been focused to establish a wireless sensor device for everything.
The sensor network has a small amount of data to sent at one time, it is possible to provide services more cheaply by the number of terminals to be accommodated in one base station and received less frequently.
However, to accommodate the tens of thousands of devices to a single base station is expected to increase due to reduced throughput and transmission delay time of the collision sent a random access channel when transmitting data to the terminal.
In this paper,we examined the contention window control scheme to increasing the throughput and supressing the transmission delay of high priority packets in a sensor network which have more than one transmission priority
The result was confirmed by three points to be effective in controlling the contention window.First, it was confirmed that 2.6 million units to improve the capacity of 1.8 million units at the base station terminal. Another confirmed that the 30% improvement in peak throughput of higher priority packets. Another region of high collision probability in the random access channel, was confirmed to be capable of suppressing a high priority packet transmission delay. |
