We have been studying and developing a novel stack-type organic image sensor, which consists of organic pho-toconductors and transparent thin film transistors, toward a compact and high-resolution TV camera. The concept of the stack-type organic image sensor, properties of organic photoconductors, and the recent progress of the development of the sensor were reported in this paper. |
