(in English) We propose a technique for recognizing three-dimensional (3D) objects which is based on spherical projection of obtained shapes and textures. This technique needs only a few images for learning although the appearance of 3D objects changes as the viewpoint position changes. The technique recognizes objects by matching spherical-projection images with training images stored in a database. The matching process is vote-based, with the image getting the most votes becoming the recognition result. The technique computes the vote score on the basis of vector distance between feature points, not only for a given feature point but also for feature points in its vicinity.
