In order to measure detailed delay profile in urban area, highly sensitive channel sounder is desired. Therefore, in measurement method using autocorrelation of PN code, we studied the improvement method that correlation gain of PN code is increased by large number of symbols. The reduction of correlation gain caused by bandwidth limitation, sampling frequency deviation and carrier frequency deviation are cleared by simulations. Furthermore channel sounder was manufactured as an experiment, the correlation gain for PN code length was measured using the channel sounder. The results showed that the effective correlation gain decreases by the operation of modulation and demodulation. |
