The Secrecy Capacity maximized by Adaptive Modulation and Transmission Power Control

(in English) In recent wireless communication, security is one of main issues and secret key sharing based on information theoretic security has been paid much attention. In this paper, we investigate a technique to increase secrecy capacity for the key sharing. A related work employed MIMO-Eigenbeam-Space Division Multiplexing(MIMO-E-SDM) and showed that secrecy capacity can be increased in a case of 2$\times$2 MIMO communication between transmitter and a legitimate receiver. In our proposed method, not only MIMO-E-SDM but also adaptive modulation and power allocation technique are employed. A aim of this technique is to maximize the secrecy capacity with a transmit power constraint. Several computer simulation results show that our proposal can outperform the conventional technique and adaptive modulation and power allocation technique can decrease mutual information between the transmitter and the eavesdropper on the other hand adaptive modulation can significantly increase mutual information between the transmitter and legitimate receiver.
