Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this paper, we propose a resource allocation method for virtualization technology so that robustness of physical networks can be improved and many virtual networks can be constructed. In our proposed method, a resource allocation for physical networks can be formulated as an optimization problem. Here this problem is a convex programing problem, and it can be transformed into a semi-definite programming problem. Therefore, by solving the semi-definite programming, we obtain the optimal resource allocation for physical networks. We evaluate the performance of the proposed method by simulation, and we compare it with the performance of the conventional method. Numerical examples show that the robustness of physical networks can be improved by using our proposed method and that a larger number of virtual networks can be constructed in physical networks.
