In recent years, the scarcity of vacant spectrum bands has significantly impeded growth in demand for a usable spectrum for new wireless services.
On the other hand, the spectrum assigned to licensed system (so called primary user: PU) has not been used efficiently. To overcome this problem, dynamic spectrum sharing has been paid much attention. In this paper, we focus on a multiple input multiple output(MIMO) based space domain spectrum sharing technique in secondary user (SU). The purpose of this technique is to maximization of SU throughput with a constrain of harmful interference at PU. In a related work which also proposed MIMO based spectrum sharing techniques, D-SVD where a singular value decomposition based transmitting weight is used and P-SVD where a transmitting weight is determined to provide a orthogonality in channel toward PU, and Hybrid D-SVD/P-SVD where better one is selected from D-SVD and P-SVD. In our proposed method, a parameter indicating a degree of orthogonality in terms of channel toward PU is used to determine a transmitting weight in SU. Use of this parameter can increase a degree of freedoms in power allocation and it leads to enhancement of SU channel capacity. We verify the effectiveness of the proposed method by computer simulation simulations. |
