An alternative test method for radiated emission measurement emitted from the lighting equipment in frequency range 30 to 300 MHz has been discussed in International Special Committee on Radio Interference (CISPR). The test method is a conducted disturbance measurement by means of CDNEs (Coupling and decoupling networks for emission) and is discussed to put into the basic standard of CISPR. If the CDNE and the test method using it are put into the basic standard, it is possible to apply to the various types of ports and equipment. However, the test method could not measure the conducted disturbance voltages precisely when the disturbance having differential-mode components. This is because the CDNEs are not required specific characteristics of the longitudinal conversion loss (LCL).
In this technical report, we show the relation between LCL and measured disturbances in theoretically and experimentally so as to describe the problem on measuring the conducted disturbance source including differential-mode components by means of the CDNE. Based on the results, we suggest the necessity of LCL requirements for the CDNE. |
