Due to the popularization of network services, we are currently in an era where it is easy to obtain information online. However, because, for disabled people, there are many hurdles in various aspects concerning utilization of electronics, it is necessary to have information before purchasing something.
For example, there is word-of-mouth information from other people available online before purchasing something, but is that information applicable to disabled people as well? In this project, we conducted an actual exchange of ideas with an Association of Quadriplegics, and will propose an online information sharing and support mechanism with the goal of promotion for the utilization and popularization of electronics among disabled people. We will also examine and report on: whether utilization of the previously mentioned word-of-mouth information is possible; if it is to be improved, where its problems lie; and how sharing the situation with other people could be made possible. |
