(in English) In this talk, taking into consideration the above trends, the target requirements towards 2020 are identified. Then, technical solutions and candidate concepts to be considered for further LTE enhancements and future radio access are presented. Specifically, to enable efficient utilization of future higher frequency bands, the designs of radio access network architecture and radio access technology are identified as important issues. In particular, a hierarchical network where a macro node (wide area) exploits existing lower frequency band to support coverage and mobility while additional wider and higher frequency bands are utilized by low power nodes (local area) to provide high speed data transmission is one potential future architecture, to which hybrid radio access is a potential technology that can be applied towards further enhancements of spectrum efficiency.
