A method of transmitting terrestrial pseudo satellite signal in global navigation satellite system

(in English) In global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) such as Global Positioning System (GPS), we need signals from more than four satellites to determine the current three dimensional location. However, the determination sometimes fails due to obstructions of the visibility of the horizontal direction. For augmentation of these satellite signals, the ground deployment of the pseudo satellite, or in short, pseudolite, has been proposed. But the near-far problem arises then. Pulse-like tranmission of has been used for mitigating the interference vicinity close to the pseudolite. In this paper, successive pulses transmission at the pseudolite with the power control is proposed to enlarge the service area.
