Estimation of Subjective Difficulty of an e-Learning Learner by using Eye Movement Measurement

(in English) This paper proposes an estimation method of subjective difficulty of WEB based English listening tests from learners’ eye movement characteristic parameters. We adopt estimation method analysis of eye movements using a Supported Vector Machine (SVM) method. The two median of “easy” and “difficult” differ significantly using the Mann-Whitney's U –test. It is shown that eye movement characteristics were different between “ease” and “difficulty”. The coincidence rate of “easy” was 85.7% and “difficulty” was 86.8%.
