| (in English) | Though we can’t perceive that three - dimensional shape of three -dimensional object from shadow projected to the flat surface, we can perceive that three - dimensional shape by rotating object (kinetic depth effect). Though this is powerful as clue of depth perception, it leaves ambiguity as to perception of irregularities and rotation direction. In this study, we examined whether ambiguity of irregularities and rotation direction were solved when observer actively controlled rotation of stimulus by hand. |
