| （英） | Transmissions among neighboring nodes in wireless networks may interfere with each other using omni-antennas which are typically assumed to be used. To overcome the interference problem, transmissions using smart antennas have been proposed. However they ideally reduce the interference significantly, the interference among neighboring nodes may be also existed in practice. First, we make experiments with a practical smart antenna testbed called UNAGI/ESPAR for several topologies. Based on the results, we derive theorems of interference and throughput using smart antennas. With the theoretic results we propose a routing protocol called DIBR with the least interference in order to maximal the throughput of networks using smart antennas. DIBR is the protocol to choose the optimization route of minimal interference to the network based on calculating the entire possible route in the network. | |
