Car-pedestrian accidents were mainly caused by inattention and lack of risk perception of both drivers and pedestrians. We proposed new support system for driving safety to reduce such accidents that shares the information about driver’s cognitive status with other traffic participants. In this study, we investigated the effect of visual information for alerting pedestrians. The results showed that the visibility of the display is good and it can draw pedestrian’s attention under sunlight. |
