Probabilistic optimized method of dereverberation, acoustic echo canceller, and noise reduction based on time-varying model of systems and sources

(in English) This paper deals with a simultaneous reduction technique of an acoustic echo, reverberation, and background noise at systems in which acoustic transfer functions are time-varying. For high noise-reduction performance with little speech distortion in time-varying systems, an effective utilization of both of a linear-filter and a non-linear filter is desirable. However, a simple cascade-connection of linear/non-linear filters is not good, because this causes an interference of each filter and degradation of undesired-sound reduction performance. In this paper, we propose a simultaneous optimization method of all filters by maximizing an unified likelihood function with a probabilistic model of time-variance of systems, each source. In the proposed method, the linear filters are adapted with appropriate time-weights with reference to covariance matrices of each source and systems. Experimental results with data which is recorded under a real meeting room show that the propose method is superior to cascade methods.
