The wireless multihop communication which performs relay transmission using a relay terminal does not need a central base station. The multihop communication is expected to compose a transmission network when the base station cannot be installed or used in the area. In addition, in mobile radio communications, the channel environment changes every moment. Accordingly the roles of the channel estimation and its compensation become important and the realization of the highly-precise and highly-efficient channel estimation technique in two-way multihop network is demanded. However, in the channel estimation of the conventional bidirectional multi-hop communication, the transmission efficiency is lowered by the consecutive pilot training sequence. To improve it we have proposed a channel estimation scheme using sparse pilot symbols in the two-way multihop network in previous study, which raise the transmission efficiency. However, the bit error rate performance was a bit degraded due to the sparse pilots. Therefore, in this paper we propose a new channel estimation scheme for the two-way multihop network to improve the transmission performance by using the scattered pilot symbols. The application of scattered pilot symbols into the two-way transmission is introduced and the effectiveness of proposed scheme is evaluated by the computer simulation. |
