Development of Simple Satellite and Ground Station Simulator Hiroyuki Nagamatsu (JAXA) SANE2012-2 |

We are in progress to develop automatic satellite operation system in order to reduce human load of its steady operation phase. The REIMEI ground station is used as a test bench for verification of proposed method. While the reduction of human load using automatic operation system is in prospect, we are faced with the problem that the test environment/equipment to verify automatic operation system is insufficient. We are also in progress to develop “simple satellite simulator” that generates pseudo telemetry data to imitate satellite signal or status, for example, bus voltage and battery temperature to improve robustness and reliability of automatic operation system. The simulator also generates pseudo signal to imitate status of the ground station, for example, antenna received power. |
