Detecting Soccer Players Using Color Information and SVM

(in English) In recent years, the applications that users can watch the video at any point of view has been attracting attention, free viewpoint video generation technology research, has been investigated.In the synthesis of free viewpoint video in a large space, such as football games, the position of each player is a necessary information, when you want to find the position players to extract the foreground region, in the event of occlusion, each overlapping can not seek the position of the players.
In this paper, we propose a method after the extraction of color information by using the player area, make the detection of occlusion area by RANSAC, detection is performed for each player that is included in its occlusion by SVM.
Even monocular perspective, allowing for the area by combining the detection head occlusion by SVM, the results of the validation, was confirmed to improve the accuracy of True Positive of 10$\%$ compared with the case of the only players region extraction.
