Methods for rapidly testing node reachability on multiple virtual private networks and evaluation

(in English) Reachability check services with ping are provided as a optional service of VPN provided by telecom carriers. With the expansion of cloud services to connect cloud providers and customers, monitoring services of VPN are also expanding.
We already proposed rapid ping method. In this paper, we propose the methods to apply rapid ping to VPN reachability check services. ping tools can only check reachability of 1 VPN(IP-network) simultaneously, so this tool cannot be apply for VPN services. In order to tests reachability of VPNs simultaneously, it is necessary to devise routing table with service-ID and interface mapping table. And in order to shorten testing time by utilizing server resources to a maximal degree, it is necessary to invent the methods to control the order of reachability checks of each VPNs. The improved ping tools can test reachability of a number of VPNs simultaneously within several minutes.
