An information gathering method based on frequency and time mapping collects an observed value and a position of each sensor node for wireless sensor networks by using a time and frequency signals. However in the information gathering method, information that is obtained from received signals includes extra information in addition to the information sent by sensor nodes since a relation between position and time is not unique. Therefore, it is required to estimate the correct sensing information from frequency and timing of received signals. In this paper, we propose information estimating methods for the information gathering method. The proposed methods utilize a spatial correlation of observed information or positions of sensor nodes, and also predict high accuracy information to confirm the information really sent by sensor nodes. By using proposed methods, we can gather high precision sensing information with the position of sensor nodes at the sink. |
