| 抄録 | （和） | 読むことに困り感を持つ児童は，書かれた文字情報へのアクセスが困難であるため，教科学習に遅れをきたす恐れがある。本研究では通常学級に少なからず存在すると考えられる読み困難児の情報アクセスを支援するために，デジタル教科書端末ソフト“Touch & Read”を開発し，授業に導入することによる学習効果を検討した。Touch & Readは，タブレットPC上に提示された文章を指でタッチするとその箇所をハイライトし読み上げる機能，ピンチアウトによって画面を拡大する機能を有し，かつ，学習者の操作パターンのログをとることも可能である。小学1～6年生の各1学級にこのシステムを導入した結果，特に，読みに困り感を持つ児童の読解成績の向上がみられた。また，ログの分析から，読みに困り感を持つ児童の読みパターンの特徴について考察した。 |
| （英） | Children with reading difficulties, such as children with dyslexia, struggle with standard printed materials in regular classrooms. In this study, a reading support system, “Touch & Read”, was developed to examine changes in text comprehension among children. Using this system, readers can magnify text, or tap part of the text to listen to the words read aloud, and adjust the speed of such auditory feedback. The system can log the way that the reader uses it to be analyzed to report on points of difficult for a reader. We provided the Touch & Read system to 175 students from the first to sixth grade in the regular class and asked them to use it in the lesson for reading comprehension. Analysis of our data shows improvements in the reading rate and accuracy of the children with reading difficulties and a consequent rise in reading scores. Through an analysis of the logs of the reading behavior, the differences of the reading process between the children with and without reading difficulties are discussed here. | |
