In this work, we have considered Particle Swarm Optimization (abbr. PSO) with hierachical structures in order to solve some constrained optimization problems. The particle swarm optimization method with hierachical structures is to satisfy the constrain conditions in the lower layer and to optimiza the objective function in the upper layer. By doing so can be applied to constrained optimization problems which can not be solved to the basic PSO. In this report, we apply this technique to some constrained optimization problems and evaluate its performance. |
