[Invited Talk] Nagasaki EV&ITS Project -- Innovation from integration of EV and ITS --

(in English) Nagasaki Prefecture is currently promoting "Nagasaki EV&ITS Project" in Goto islands of a candidate site of the World Heritage. The project aims to construct an eco-friendly tourism model of "Driving Tours of the Future" by integrating EV(Electric Vehicle) and ITS and revitalize isolated islands with decreasing population. One hundred of EVs and charging infrastructures as quick chargers covering whole islands were introduced, and information system utilizing ITS spot service is constructed. Furthermore, construction of distributed micro-grid network using renewable energies is also included in the vision and discussed. In this paper, this novel society model proposed from island/region is introduced.
