Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In order to achieve high-speed and large-capacity wireless communication, MIMO-OFDM systems have been adopted in such as IEEE802.11n standard wireless LAN systems. OFDM systems need to reduce peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) to prevent communication quality degradation, partial transmit sequence (PTS) methods adding phase rotation to OFDM modulated signals have been proposed to reduce PAPR. However, characteristic improvement of PTS causes a large amount of calculation. In this paper, we have introduced coded PTS methods converting an arbitrary number of phase patterns into a codebook, and reduced the calculation cost. In addition, we have evaluated the simulation about communication characteristics by changing an amount of phase rotation for coded PTS.
