We overview optical communication experiments between a optical communication terminal on a small satellite Hodoyoshi 2, alias named RISESAT and an optical ground station. We present VSOTA(Very Small Optical Transmission for component validation) experiment goal, specification, link analysis, satellite interface and propose experiment evaluation methods. |
