This paper proposes the retransmission control scheme to improve delay time and throughput on wireless systems. The object system is microwave band FPU (Field Pick-up Unit). Since the FPU system demands a high image quality, the delay time and the decrease in throughput by the packet loss are important issues. The retransmission control scheme was studied in order to remedy the issue caused by the packet loss in this paper. Moreover a more efficient retransmission control scheme was designed compared with the conventional scheme. These schemes were evaluated by the computation simulation. The throughput characteristic of the proposed scheme was improved from the conventional scheme by about 1.4 times., and delay time was suppressed by about 26% |
