In this manuscript, an experimental study is presented for network synchronization with the global positioning system (GPS) in indoor wireless distributed networks.
The experimental system consists of universal software radio peripherals (USRP), GPS disciplined oscillator (GPSDO), and a GPS re-radiation antenna system.
The GPS signals are distributed to USRPs by the GPS re-radiation antenna system even in indoor environments, and USRPs achieve network synchronization with GPSDO.
The synchronization performance is evaluated by our experimental system.
The experimental results show that the integration of wireless communication devices with GPSDO and a GPS re-radiation antenna system provides us network synchronization with high accuracy and high stability in indoor wireless distributed networks. |
