We have proposed combined network system consist of regional wireless mesh network system called NerveNet, unmaned aircraft system(UAS), and satellite communication system for a dependable network in case of a big disaster. To evaluate its availability, we build up a simulation system, which can simulate both wireless communication system and human behavior which includes human mobility and communication actions using multi-agent simulation technique. The proposed communication system models and safety confirmation application models were implemented in the simulator. In addition, a simulation scenario which assuming a big earthquake
occurs in a Koganei-city Tokyo was created, and its human behavior and communication systems were evaluated.
The results show that, more than 90% people achieved to exchange safety confirmation messages among its families even when both cellular system and wired network are out of service and only proposed network system is available. |
