[Poster Presentation] Study on Adaptive MIMO Relaying for Multi-hop Wireless Network

(in English) In our study, we focus on MIMO relaying for multi-hop networks that are half-duplex one-way (HD-OW), half-duplex two-way (HD-TW) and full-duplex one-way (FD-OW) relaying. The performance for HD-OW and HD-TW relaying degrade due to interference signal from adjacency nodes and that for FD-OW relaying degrade due to both interference signal from adjacency nodes and self-interference signal at the relay node. In this paper, we analyze FD-OW relaying that interference signal from node A is also used as the desired signal, and derive optimal relay transformation matrices that maximized the network capacity for modified FD-OW relaying. Moreover, we compare the outage capacity of FD-OW relaying with HD-OW and HD-TW relaying. Furthermore, we will show the performance of adaptive relaying based on HD-TW and FD-OW relaying. As a result, it is shown that the outage capacity can be improved 4.3 times when SNR is below 12 dB and 4.7 times when SNR is above 12 dB respectively if HD-TW and FD-OW relaying can be applied according to the propagation environment.
