MoM Analysis and Wideband Design of 2x2-element Wide Slot Sub-array on a Wall-inserted Cavity

(in English) The plate-laminated waveguide slot array antenna has achieved 83.6% antenna efficiency, 33.0-dBi gain and 11% 1dB-down bandwidth in the 60-GHz band. In this paper, we propose fast analysis of the radiating part by the method of moments for wideband design of the antenna and show its effectiveness. Next, the radiating part is designed using the analysis method and the bandwidth for VSWR less than 1.5 is improved from 9.2% to 18.0% by lower Q, appropriate arrangement of resonance frequencies and triple resonance.
