Subthalamic nucleus neuron model displaying a dopamine-depedent change in neural responses

(in English) n the subthalamic nucleus (STN) neuron, it has been reported that dopamine depletion influences activation of some ion channels. In this study, we constructed the STN neuron model exhibiting dopamine-dependent responses in order to investigate relationship between the neuron's dopamine-dependent behavior and Parkinson's Disease.Our result suggested that HCN channels deficiency induced strong rebound burst firings and down-regulation of $\rm Ca_{V}$2.2 channels prevented $\rm Na^{+}$ channels from being sufficiently recovered.This meant that available $\rm Na^{+}$ channels were decreased and caused reduction of the velocity during action potential generation.Therefore, under the dopamine depleted condition, the STN neuron model is likely to be more strongly affected by background noise,and consequently to exhibit an irregular spontaneous activity.
