Analysis of conducted noise for LED lighting by using control model of IPD

(in English) EMC countermeasure in early stages of development is effective in reducing the cost of development, and prediction of noise is needed for it. Power semiconductor devices equipped with the control function are used for the power supply circuit of LED lighting. When there is no SPICE model of the power semiconductor device, the noise prediction by a simulation is difficult. Therefore, we studied a modeling method of the power semiconductor device for the purpose of prediction of conducted noise from 9 kHz to 30 MHz. We modeled the power semiconductor device by functional control blocks and an ideal switch, and simulated conducted noise using the model. As a result, we predicted conducted noise with the amplitude error of less than 6 dB at frequency of the integral multiple of switching frequency.
