This paper introduces a pulse-coupled system
including three spiking neuron models.
The state of the spiking neuron repeats
an integrate-and-fire dynamics and outputs the spike-train. The single neuron exhibits bifurcation phenomena and can output various periodic and chaotic spike-train. We consider a ring-coupled system with three neurons. When a neuron outputs the spike, other neuron accepts as the input and is fired compulsorily. As the parameter varies, a ring-coupled system can exhibit various periodic and non-periodic phenomena. Using numerical simulations for this system, we show and consider basic characteristics, such as average firing number and compulsory firing ratio and so on. |
