Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) As a countermeasure for eavesdropping in wireless communication, a wireless secret key generator using ESPAR(Electronically Steerable Parasitic Array Radiator) antennas has been studied. We simulated wireless secret key generator by using ray-tracing method in Two-dimension space without noise. We compared the tapping tolerance of applying 3-element ESPAR antennas to both terminals and tapping tolerance of applying 3-element ESPAR antenna to one terminal. As a result of simulation, we show that tapping tolerance is improved by applying 3-element ESPAR antennas to both terminals. We also compared tapping tolerances when increasing the number of elements of the ESPAR antenna using to one terminal. As a result, the tapping tolerance of applying 3-element ESPAR antennas to both terminals can be obtained by applying 5-element ESPAR antenna to one terminal.
