Spatial Modulation Module Consisting of a Microstrip Array Antenna and Dual Scatterers for Wireless Power Transmission

(in English) The Spatial Modulation (SM) module, consisting of an array antenna for the power transmission and SM modulator, is developed for the wireless tansmission of both electric power and information. The 5.8-GHz-band high efficiency 2x2 circularly polarized array antenna was designed using a low-loss teflon substrate. At 5.68 GHz, the fabricated array antenna exhibited a maximum gain of 13.8 dBi, an axial ratio of 1.22, a gain difference of 40 dB between the nul and the maximum gain, and total efficiency of 83 \%. The module is conposed of dual scatterers loaded with varactors. The module is estimated in both frequency and time domains. Measured amplitude modulation factor is 8.6 \% at 5.68 GHz.
