Gene therapy has been a new treatment for malignant tumors such as cancer and congenital disease. In this treatment, it is necessary to transfer a gene from outside the cell. Therefore, various methods have been studied for gene therapy. We also have studied gene transfection method using Laser-Induced Emergent stress wave (LIESW). LIESW is ultrasound and stress wave caused by laser-target interaction and it has high pressure (MPa) and rapid rate of rise (MPa/s).In this method, gene or medicine transfer into cell using such character. It is necessary to investigate pressure characteristics of LIESW. Until now, we have analyzed voltage signal of LIESW waveforms detected the PVDF transducer. In this paper, we report the results of LIESW pressure value and its distribution using a pressure measurement film. |
