A Note on Evaluation Measures for Distributed Data Replication Systems

(in English) Many researches on the data replication techniques have been reported to improve performance or reliability.
As design basis of the replication,
we have five concepts, i.e., performance, scalability, consistency, reliability, and security.
There are certain relationships between given two of these design concepts.
For example, it is well known that
there are trade-offs between performance and reliability, or between performance and consistency.
This paper focuses on three standard of performance, consistency, and reliability,
to freshly quantifiy these relations by using the simple data replication model.
It is shown that not only the trade-offs above but also the one between reliability and consistency are realized.
