Link Failure Detection and Error Condition Notification for Adaptive Multiple Lane Transport
Kei Kitamura, Yoshiaki Yamada, Kenji Hisadome, Mitsuhiro Teshima (NTT) PN2012-32
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We study the cost-effective and flexible capacity transport technologies that adapt to sudden traffic demands. We have reported the OTU-flex scheme by using the flexible-size transport frame and adaptively-controlled multiple transport lanes. In this report, we propose the link failure detection and the error condition notification for the adaptive multiple lane transport scheme, that is added new functions to the multichannel 100G / 40G -OTN parallel interfaces in ITU-T G.709.
