Proposal of inerference reduction method using eigenmode transmission inside relay station transceiver

(in English) This report proposes an interference cancellation method between relay transceiver which utilizes the feature of eigenmode transmission and LoS-MIMO. The proposed method exploits the propagation channel in which
the eigenvalues except largest eigenvalue (1st-eigenvalue) are much maller than 1st-eigenvalue when an appropriate element spacing is selected in LoS-MIMO. The interference reduction between relay transceiver can be realized by employing eigenvector beamforming without 1st-eigenvector. Moreover, in order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, we conducted the measurement when using 4×4 relay transceiver with Micro Strip Antennas(MSAs). It is shown that the measurement and calculated results agree with each other and 22 dB interference reduction can be obtained by the proposed method when considering the optimal element spacing.
