(in English) Super-resolution is a technology which creates high-resolution images from low resolution images. The combination of super-resolution technology and free-viewpoint image synthesis enables us to use high-resolution free-viewpoint image synthesis from low resolution images. For faster implementation of free-viewpoint image synthesis using super-resolution, we used hardware acceleration with GPGPU (General-purpose computing on graphics processing units). This paper introduces performance evaluation and quality improvement of super-resolved free-viewpoint image synthesis.
