(in English) This paper proposes a symmetric extended symbol mapping, which assigns signal points symmetrically about the modulo boundaries on the IQ plane of vector perturbation (VP). Although VP improves the throughput of multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) transmission over highly correlated channels, the error of modulo boundary setting of a demodulator leads significant performance degradation. The proposed method alleviates the impact of the boundary setting errors by assigning same signal points around the modulo boundaries. Simulation results confirm that the proposed method effectively improves the BER performance.
