Estimation of sound field based on inversion of Kirchhoff-Helmholtz integral equation and forward wave propagation

(in English) We propose a novel sound field estimation method based on inversion of Kirchhoff-Helmholtz integral equation and forward wave propagation. A sound pressure in a boundary field in which there is no sound source can be defined from sound pressures and particle velocities at the field boundary based on Kirchhoff-Helmholtz integral equation. In our proposed method, sound pressures and particle velocities at the field boundary are first estimated from sound pressures recorded whth a microphone array using inversion of Kirchhoff-Helmholtz integral equation.
And then, sound pressure at any point in the field can be obtained by calculating forward wave propagation of the estimated sound pressures and particle velocities at the boundary. Results of computer simulations show that our proposed method is effective.
