Koichi Bando, Kenji Tanaka (UEC) SSS2012-17
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Focusing on communications network fields which become increasingly important to the general public and society, we show the features of accidents and discuss the social influence and problems by analyzing the recent communications network accidents collected widely through newspaper reports. Firstly, we extract the severity of accidents by using the severity defined in previous study[1], and show their features. Secondly, we extract cases with high news characteristics and low severity, and low news characteristics and high severity by analyzing the relationship between severity and news characteristics, and extract their gap factors. Finally, we discuss the social influence and problems from now.
