long-range image acquisition for traffic sign using hybrid camera system

(in English) In this paper, we propose a image acquisition system for distant traffic sign using hybrid camera system. The hybrid camera system consists of a wide-angle camera and a telephoto camera whose shooting direction can be chosen at high speed. proposed system detects objects similar to traffic sign, and show them to a user. after that user choose a object, the system acquires high-resolution sign images using telephoto camera and show it. The proposed prototype system, we have confirmed that it is possible to get the high resolution image of sign.
