Interaction Design in a Multi-Touch Table for Shape of Hand Identification

(in English) Conventional touch panels provide only information on the pointing coordinates. We presented the idea of FTIR Multi-Touch screen equipped with an infrared light source that enables to gain information not only on the pointing coordinates but also the shape of hands. The system is presented here available for new interaction tools utilizing positively the motion of a hands until a touch on the screen, in addition to information on the pointing coordinates. In this paper we experimentally considered whether or not the presented multi-touch panel handles well.
