Doctors, nurses and clinical engineers usually round the patients during dialysis to understand the patient’s situation. In addition to this, clinical engineers also manage some medical supplies which are used in dialysis. In this study, in order to make the dialysis rounds efficient and laborsaving, and to control medical supplies for dialysis, we have made two applications for the dialysis rounds and medical supply managements with database. Then we have constructed the dialysis support system linked with these applications. As a result, we could search patient’s information promptly if compared with the search with traditional paper version. Also, reflecting patient’s information which compiled into a database for the application of medical supplies management and showing graphically a usage of medical supplies suggest the feasibility of stock management temporally. |
