(in English) This paper examines the fault tolerance of an in-vehicle LAN under high electromagnetic environment.
First, we present a summary of the CAN protocol considering here.
Secondly, a fault model for the network under severe electro-magnetic noise is defined.
We further discuss some concrete fault tolerant techniques which might be applicable to the fault model above.
