(in English) We demonstrate the development of a new type Cherenkov phase-matched terahertz source module using LiNbO3 waveguide attached a half-conic silicon prism, which efficiently generates broadband terahertz waves in the frequency range up to 7 THz with short pulse duration of 146 fs. We show quantitative evaluation of ascorbic acid with four times higher sensitivity than conventional photoconductive antenna by building up a terahertz-optical sampling system using our module. Terahertz time-of-flight tomographic imaging is also demonstrated to evaluate thin film thickness of silicon-on-insulator samples, which enables the measurement of 10 μm film thickness. These results indicate great potential for use in application of our module.
