With the aim to improve the efficiency of PWM DC-AC single-phase nverter, in this article, the switching phase of the PWM output is optimized by using our proposed divided optimization algorithm (DOA). The our proposed divided optimization algorithm is one of the meta-heuristics algorithms which is based on swarm intelligence.By the updating of the particles of the DOAs, the DOAs are classified into two types; one is a synchronous DOA, and the other is an asynchronous DOA.The particle updating order of the asynchronous DOA is an important factor in the optimization process. We carry out some numerical simulations to design the switching phase. Based on the numerical simulation results, we investigate the relationship between the updating order and the solution searching performance. Also, we compare the performance of our proposed design method with the conventional triangle wave comparison method to generate the PWM waveform. |
